Gov Docs are Special Too!: Incorporating Historic Government Documents into Instruction and Outreach Programs

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Just like our favorite archival primary sources, government documents can be special too! From National History Day projects to Civil Defense preparations, government documents are relevant to all topics. The presenters will share example lesson plans, activities, and displays. This discussion may be useful to those who wish to learn more about primary source instruction, integrating government documents into general library instruction, and/or creating public programs with primary sources.
