Information & Society: Critical Thinking in the Post-Truth World is a one-credit, upper-division information literacy course piloted in Fall 2019 by Southern Utah University librarians. Designed around the themes of fake news and truthiness, the course aims to provide students with a heightened awareness and acuity regarding information behaviors of production and consumption. Ten librarian-instructors each taught a component ranging from memes to epistemology, click-bait to provenance. Following last year’s introduction to the process of acquiring and building the course, this panel presentation will focus on the collaborative process of teaching with many different instructors while maintaining a coherent, iterative, and responsive course for the students. Using different teaching styles, we were able to engage the students while working within a consistent framework to guide the students from professor to professor across topics using lectures, assignments, and quizzes.
